 The BP18/45-2 features a rugged, wear-resistant base plate for increased productivity and effectiveness. A high lip at the edge of the base plate adds strength, decreases the amount of material pick-up and allows operators to turn the unit while compacting asphalt, without scuffing the working surface. The base plate and exciter housing are totally independent of each other, simplifying maintenance. A protective, high-density plastic belt guard prevents V-belt damage and extends belt life.
